Mbi 100 shkencëtar me nam ndërkombëtar në mbrojtje të Radikës

 Shkencëtarë nga vende të ndryshme të Europës, mes të cilëve edhe shkencëtarët e vitit 2013 në Austri dhe Gjermani, kanë nënshkruar një letër të hapur ku kundërshtojnë ndërtimet e hidrocentraleve në Parkun e Mavrovës. Letra u drejtohet, Bankës Europiane(EBRD) dhe Bankës Botërore, që shfaqin interes në financimin e hidrocentralit Boshkomovc dhe Fushës së Lukovës respektivisht.

Në letrën e tyre, ata thonë se Parku i Mavrovës është ndër parqet më të vjetra të Europës dhe është ndër më të pasurit në biodiverzitet dhe ekosistem. Sipas tyre, më e kushtueshme është prishja e natyrës sesa rryma elektrike, dhe bankat respektive ta mendojnë mirë para se të financojnë projekte të tilla destruktive, informon Almakos.

Në fund letra mbyllet duke përmendur emrat e kryetarëve të institucioneve, Suma  Chakrabarti dhe Jim Yong Kim, që nisma e tyre të merret parasysh.
